These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of holycode.org and our services — HolyChat, HolyBuild, HolyAgent, the single sign-in at id.holycode.org and related apps (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
Most Services require an account. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and tell us at admin@holycode.org if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for everything done under your account. One person — one personal account; an organisation may invite members and assign them roles, and its owners and administrators must enable two-factor authentication.
2. Acceptable use
Do not use the Services to:
- break the law or the rights of others, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
- upload malware, or attack, probe, overload or disrupt our systems or anyone else’s;
- send spam or unsolicited messages;
- scrape the Services, resell them or offer them as your own without our written consent;
- harass, deceive or harm people;
- circumvent limits, security measures or access controls.
We may suspend or restrict accounts that do any of this.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you create or upload. You grant us the licence needed to host, process, transmit, back up and display your content in order to run the Services for you and for the people you share it with. You confirm that you have the rights to the content you submit.
4. AI features
The Services generate text, code and other output with AI. Output can be wrong, incomplete or biased — review it before relying on it, especially in legal, medical, financial or safety-related matters. Agents perform only the actions you allow them to; you remain responsible for what you authorise.
5. Our rights
The Services, their software, design, names and logos belong to HolyCode or its licensors. Open-source components remain under their own licences. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you.
6. Third-party services
Sign-in providers, AI model providers and other integrations are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the Services. We try to give reasonable notice of material changes. Some features are marked as beta and may be unstable or removed.
8. Fees
The Services are free unless a paid plan is offered. Prices, billing periods and cancellation terms are shown before you pay and form part of these Terms.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or after prolonged inactivity, giving notice where reasonably possible. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as ownership, disclaimers and limitations of liability — survive.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or error-free output.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HolyCode is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim connected with the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is always on this page with its date; material changes are announced inside the Services or by e-mail before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it.
